I don’t know what features magazines have nowadays but I do remember this section in one of those magazines such as ‘US Weekly’ or ‘In Touch’ or ‘People’ ( you get the idea) that I couldn’t care less about but would buy girls I used to date or hope my sister or aunts left them somewhere in the house or at the beach so I could do the crossword puzzle in the back. Anyways.. I remember this section in the Magazine called “Celebrities they are just like us” and in it, they had pictures of celebs taking their dogs for a walk, drinking coffee, doing laundry, and some other adult-ish stuff and overall, the whole point of that section was to “prove” us that they are just like each and every one of us. You know, normal people despite the fact Britney Spears once set her gym on fire and mentioned it as a side note as if it was another day at the office but I digress…
When I saw the video above my first thought was about the very same section in the magazine because they are just like us indeed at least in this case I mean whoever says that they haven’t had a moment like Ben Affleck & J.Lo is simply a liar (unless you never dated anyone yet) and just by looking on their face like it’s been the longest day ever, and I’m like who haven’t been there with their spouse? who hasn’t had at least 3 or 4 fights a day with their spouse without encouraging this kinda situation of course but still, what’s the big deal here? And sure, sometimes it feels horrible to have this in a relationship as you feel so down you don’t wanna see anybody including yourself but let’s give the man some respect here for opening the car door and holding it for her and just being a mentsh. Maybe got yelled over not moving his ass an inch for hours on the couch watching the Dodgers but still found the strength and the power to spend the whole day with her being dragged shopping with her. I mean give the man some credit ffs
Then the fact he finds out he’s being filmed. That look of like “Dude you fucking kidding me?” The “what else can go wrong today?” look on his face says it all folks. Everyone has had a day like that. Now if this was a guy filming him and this got out … a total violation of the guy code. Scumbag move. Respect the game dude. You wouldn’t want us filming you walking out of Bed Bath and Beyond after a 3-hour stint hoping you can get home for the 2nd half of Baylor Iowa State football, only to be told you still have to go to Home Goods and Trader Joe’s, would you? Didn’t think so.
As a wise man once said, “Some days you eat the bear, some days the bear eats you.” You win some you lose some. Relationships are just like an ongoing MLB season or a marathon and today Affleck lost in the game or eaten by the bear if you will.
