Butler was experiencing one of these kinds of nights no fighter wanna experience in the ring throughout their professional career but that is exactly what happened to him and unfortunately, he was put to sleep after the knockout while Miller celebrated his win which was fascinating to see Jim Miller’s progress at this stage of his career after having 3 TKOs one of which ended with a shoulder injury  -from 2008 to 2021 and he’s doubled that number from 2021-2023.
At this point, beating Miller and derailing him from his pursuit to fight at UFC300 would be a difficult task to pull off especially when you put a youngster right in front of him to stop him from doing what he’s determined to do, and the result was harsh for the UFC newcomer which extends Jim Miller’s record of Most UFC Fights to 42 and Most UFC Wins to 25. He’s easily a UFC HOFer although he had never won a title as I’m still breathing.
His longevity and ability to not only hang with but dismantle multiple generations of fighters is absolutely impressive.
