The Phoenix Suns added another scoring threat to their roster after trading the three-time All-Star shooting guard Bradley Beal to pair with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker and expected to send Chris Paul, Landry Shamet, and multip;e second-round picks.
Frankly, I don’t know how many people know much about the Bradley Beal situation or pay attention to it but I can already say that this is turning out to be the worst trade in modern-day NBA history for sure, I mean the Washington Wizards gave him a jumbo contract of no less than $251 million without trade clause but then he became literally the only player in the league with a full no-trade clause whatsoever but guess what happened? Beal for some reason got to choose his team to trade to and when you give your best player in the franchise a free reign to choose a team to trade to and the Suns 100% of the power and control to capitalize from it, you’re practically killing yourself. Why not trade Beal right before the most bankable season of the organization?
So this is how things unfold for the Wizards? That’s tragic. This team has been struggling forever and now they’re gonna have to rebuild which is suck It es[ecially when the Phoenix Suns are the only team that couldn’t trade first rounders so kinda funny how things turned badly for the Wizards who could have done things differently but I guess that’s the heavy price you pay for hiring incompetent bums setting the bar as low as possible making the 7th/8th seed every season as the main goal instead of actually building a solid team.
Next up Kyle Kuzma and then maybe Porzingis will likely be traded as this whole rebuild thing is a day late and a dollar short ($250 million short), but I guess better late than never right?
As far as the Suns go, good for them along with signing Frank Vogel as the new head coach while keeping Ayton, moved CP3, and now have a big 3 of Durant, Beal, and Booker. Pretty solid starting 5 with Cam Payne which makes it a mini super team cuz still nothing on the bench yet but good to know they have a good basis to leverage from this point. we’ll see how it goes for the Suns in terms of chemistry and game style
As for the Wiz, they might as well change the name Wizards as we climb our way back to relevancy. Whole new name, logo, everything. Start over from scratch. I see no other option.
