Ryan Nugent-Hopkins is definitely on fire right now and not by coincidence all eyes are on him
If you’re an average Canadian hockey fan you probably know all about Ryan Nugent Hopkins being drafted 1st overall in 2011. And yes, he does need to put on some muscles ‘but his determination put him in a position to be one of the most dynamic playmakers in his draft class. No doubt that he did have some good seasons over the years in which he started off strong, but not to the level of blowing your dick off amaright?
Things had taken a different turn when Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl moved to Edmonton and completely shook things up for the Oilers. I mean these two alone possess 5 Art Ross Trophies and 3 Hart Trophies over the past 6 seasons, so no wonder why most people think of the names Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl whenever someone talks about the Oilers as it should be.
Nugent Hopkins seemed to be overlooked or missed in sight here and there but bottom line is, he didn’t give up and sulked without doing anything but the opposite. He adjusted and focused on being the killer that he is, even if he is not considered the first go-to guy in the Oilers.
RNH added up some more tougnesss and physicality to his game, and we could see it when he stepped up for his linemate and beat the brakes off of a bigger man like Justin Holl.
I expect to see RNH keep this up.
